  1. It is not permissible to seek a cure with the help of a taweez, because the Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon him) cursed the one who does taweez and the one for whom taweez is done.
  2. The one who uses a taweez will have no share in the Hereafter. His good deeds will not be accepted, his bad deeds will not be erased, and he will not enter Paradise. All his good deeds are like dust on which rain falls or like a dark spot on white silk; they do not become part of it at all.

If a person wears a taweez that contains something that is contrary to sharee’ah then he has earned the wrath and anger of Allaah; if he dies wearing it his funeral prayer should not be offered and he should be buried by being thrown into the grave without any funeral prayer being offered for him, as stated in Saheeh Muslim: “Whoever wears an amulet has committed shirk.”
